Our Philosophy
With over 50 years of teaching experience, my journey began at institutions like Convent School, Holy Child Auxilium School, and Air Force Bal Bharati School. My passion for education led me to establish my own school in 1986 in Race Course, New Delhi.
In 1997, I relocated to Noida, where I have since been dedicated to providing children with the best possible start in life. My commitment remains to nurture young minds and guide them toward a bright and successful future.
Foundation Years
At First Step School, we lay a strong academic foundation for our young learners, focusing on children aged 2 to 6. We understand that children at this age need a nurturing and loving environment, which is why our N.T.T. qualified teachers are trained to provide individualized care and attention.
Learning Approach
For nearly 30 years, we have been known for delivering quality education. Our teaching methods combine rigorous academics with play-based and hands-on activities, promoting gross motor, fine motor, and cognitive development.
Students benefit from learning tools such as beads, blocks, number lines, colorful balls, natural materials, technology, and more.
Admissions
We believe every child has the right to education, which is why we offer special fee concessions for families in need, subject to conditions.
Classes
Ages 2-3 Years
A welcoming and nurturing environment where our youngest learners begin their educational journey. Through play-based learning, children engage in activities that develop sensory, social, and early cognitive skills while fostering curiosity and a love for learning.
Ages 3-4 Years
Children build upon early experiences with more structured activities that enhance language, motor skills, and social interaction. The curriculum encourages expression, confidence, and independence through guided classroom work and creative play.
Ages 4-5 Years
Our Kindergarten program emphasizes a balance between academics and creative exploration. Children develop early literacy and numeracy skills while engaging in activities that promote critical thinking, teamwork, and a smooth transition to formal schooling.
Ages 5-6 Years
Grade 1 builds on the foundation laid in Kindergarten by introducing more advanced academic concepts. The focus is on solidifying literacy and math skills while encouraging problem-solving, independent thinking, and social confidence.
Celebrations
We celebrate festivals with fun parties, return gifts, games, and delicious food, free of charge for our students. These moments help children experience school as a happy, social, and memorable place.
